Associate Product Manager – Upstream P2P

Corcentric is looking for a hands-on, technically skilled individual with excellent communication skills to join its Product Management team as an Associate Product Manager.  The Associate Product Manager will support the broader Product Management team in both tactical and strategic activities including defining business needs, data analysis, research, development of product roadmaps, product marketing, documentation, training, software mockups, product launches, and internal and external communications.  Ultimately you will become a subject matter and product expert for our SaaS platform. Our flagship SaaS product supports the Procurement through Payment lifecycle for mid-market and Fortune 1000 companies.   This role will focus on supporting the “Upstream” modules of the platform including Analytics, Strategic Sourcing, Auctions, Contract Lifecycle Management, and Supplier Relationship and Performance Management.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Become an expert of the features, functions, and usage of the platform
  • Understand customer needs and drive the evolution of the product by translating business requirements into software product functionality
  • Engage with internal stakeholders in ideation
  • Prioritize development and support the triage process for bugs and, enhancement requests
  • Own the standardization of accuracy of the Jira developer ticketing system
  • Use data to influence and evolve new features for a particular product or solution
  • Support product managers with research, data entry, and employee communications
  • Work with the development team on User Interface (UI) design/validation, sprint reviews and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Work with other departments, such as sales and account managers to train them on the system
  • Support the creation of product collateral for use in Product Marketing
  • Utilize and manage in-platform customer analytics in order to identify usage behaviors and areas for improvement
  • Drive release readiness as well as cross organizational awareness of product/solution issues
 
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Ability to multi-task and take direction from multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • 1-3 years of related software development or product management experience, or equivalent education and internship experience
    • Alternatively, technically talented individuals with substantial experience in Source-to-Pay professional services
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
  • Undergraduate degree in technical or a related field
 
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
  • Technical familiarity including understanding of coding and IT standards
  • Previous experience with source to pay, CLM, or sourcing software or services or an ERP platform
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence systems
